Appeal Evidence Bridge is a browser extension that detects when a veteran's VA.gov appeal page indicates the record is open for new evidence, and injects a button linking directly to the VA's QuickSubmit electronic submission tool.
This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data of any kind.
Specifically, the extension does not:
The extension reads the visible text of the current VA.gov page solely to detect whether specific phrases indicating an open evidence window are present. This detection occurs entirely within the user's own browser. No data leaves the user's device at any point.
The extension requests the activeTab permission to read the text content of the currently active VA.gov tab. This permission is used exclusively to detect appeal status language and inject the QuickSubmit guidance banner. No other use is made of this permission.
This extension links to the VA's QuickSubmit tool hosted at eauth.va.gov. Safe Passage Strategies LLC is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Users who click the QuickSubmit link are subject to the VA's own privacy policy and terms of service.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
